The 2012 Kia Soul has been revamped by Kia and will feature some body changes. The latest Kia Soul model can be purchased or test driven at a Washington Kia Dealer, and the Kia Soul is one of Kia’s top selling vehicles. Other similar models include the Scion xB and the Nissan Cube, both of which are similar box styled vehicles. Kia sold over 10,000 Soul models in the month of March and for 2011 Kia has sold over 22,000 Soul models. Comparatively, the xB has sold less than 5,000 and the Cube has sold a little under 7,000, so the Soul is far more popular than either of these two models and it has outsold both models combined. The 2012 Soul will be released this fall and it will come with a 135 horsepower 1.6 liter four cylinder engine on the base trim level, as well as a 160 horsepower 2.0 liter four cylinder on higher trim levels. The vehicle will be rated at 34 mpg highway and 28 city.

The new Soul is more fun to drive and has new features that are in response to consumer requests. Some changes include new exterior LED lighting with a double outline of LEDs on the tail lights. There are also new projector headlights with LED daytime lights, and new front and rear bumpers. The Kia Soul’s “hamster ad” won the Nielson Ad of the Year and was a popular advertisement for the company and helped sell more of the Kia Soul. The Soul will be available with a premium trim level that offers leather seats and other amenities.
