The RL luxury sedan has long served as one of the most technologically advanced vehicles from Acura, and in 2011 made major improvements to raise the level again.To maximize the output of the 3.7L V-6, the RL receives a new SportShift sequential 6-speed automatic for 2011. In addition, the RL has a quieter cabin, even with the use of technology for the first single resonator in the wheel of a passenger vehicle.
With bold looks, a 300-hp engine and Acura acclaimed Super Handling All Wheel Drive ™ (SH-AWD ™), the RL 2011 shows that the luxury is perfectly complemented by advanced technology and the adrenaline of performance. In addition to providing luxury, style and performance that keeps Acura top-of-the-line sedan drivers more connected to their world (and the world around them), which offers some of the latest in intuitive, easy to use , the state-of-edge technology.
"The RL remains the benchmark for innovative use of relevant technologies to customers," said Jeff Conrad, vice president of Acura sales. "There are not many production cars at any price they offer the most advanced technology and sophistication of the transmission system."
The 2011 Acura RL goes on sale at Acura dealerships on December 21, 2010 and will be available in three trim levels. The MSRP for the RL will be $47,200, RL with Technology Package will be $51,350, and the RL with Advance Package will be $55,150.

Car Review | Acura | Acura is the luxury vehicle division of Japanese automaker Honda Motor Company. The Acura brand has been available in the United States, Canada and Hong Kong since the March 1986 sale of luxury and performance vehicles and the automotive division in the vicinity of performance.
The brand was introduced to Mexico in 2004 and to China in 2006. However, Honda's plan to introduce Acura to the Japanese market have been repeatedly delayed due to economic reasons: the planned 2008 launch was delayed for 'about two years or so' and then in a December 17, 2008 announcement from Takeo Fukui, CEO of Honda, the original plan was withheld as a result of the 2008 financial crisis around the world and economic recession that resulted.
Following a decade of research, Honda opened 60 new dealerships in North America by 1986, to support its Acura automobile division. Acura was the first Japanese luxury brand to be introduced, and its initial offering consisted of two models: the executive class Legend, a V6-powered sedan, and the compact class Integra, available as a five-door and three-door hatchback. The Legend was the result of Project XX, a joint venture Honda entered into with the Austin Rover Group of Great Britain and was mechanically related to the Rover 800 series, and the Integra was an improvement of the Honda Quint hatchback.
The success of these models, particularly the legend, competition has led to the Japanese luxury brand companies (Toyota's Lexus, which began development in 1983 that the proposed F1 and Infiniti from Nissan, which began development in 1985 Japan just check its flagship Nissan President in late 1990, but never planned Mazda launched its own Amati luxury division).
The purpose of the legend was in competition with rivals Toyota Crown and Nissan Cedric and Gloria, but since its introduction in 1986 of the world, Toyota, Nissan and other companies such as Lincoln noted the market's reaction to the legend, and later force and vehicles offered that approached the size executive car. Toyota has Lexus, Nissan introduced the Infiniti J30 and Lincoln used his new platform called Taurus sedan and Continental.
In 1987, Acura first full year after the sale they sold 109,000 cars with its flagship sedan Legend sales represented 55 000 and the rest were from the smallest Integra. In 1990, Acura sold 138,000 vehicles, including 54,000 Legends, according to Mercedes-Benz '78 0000 cars and 64,000 for the BMW and Lexus. - CAR REVIEW

The Acura CL is a model of automobile manufactured by Honda's Acura brand from 1997�1999, and from 2001�2003. The CL is often thought to have been a replacement for the Acura Legend coupe. All Acura CLs were built at Honda's plant in Marysville, Ohio alongside the TL and the Honda Accord upon which the Acura CLs were based. The CL was the first Acura to be built in the United States.
Following the end of the 1995 model year, the Acura Legend coupe disappeared from Acura's lineup when the sedan version was renamed the Acura RL. The coupe was replaced by the Acura CL for the 1997 model year, following Acura's transition to alphanumeric naming of all of its vehicles (with the exception of the Integra, which was kept in production until the 2001 model year).
Both the 4-cylinder and 6-cylinder CL offered a "Premium" trim level which offered leather upholstery (with heated front seats in the 3.0), and in the 3.0, an Acura/Bose stereo. For the 1999 model year, the "Premium" trim level was eliminated, and leather upholstery became standard on all models, as was a trunk cargo net. The alloy wheel design was different on the 3.0 for each year, moving from a five-spoke design (1997) to a seven-spoke design (1998), to a different multi-spoke alloy design for the 1999 model year. The 2.2/2.3 CL used a six-spoke design for 1997, then moved to a 5-spoke double-prong design for 1998 and 1999. Only the 4-cylinder model had an option for a manual transmission.

Judging from the cuts on the front fenders and the shape of the bonnet, we reckon it�s a mid-1990s Acura Integra Coupe.
The proud owner of the vehicle chopped off the roof to turn the Japanese coupe into a convertible model and then proceeded with the styling transformation that includes a custom body kit imitating the looks of many Mercedes-Benz roadsters and the customary trick doors.

The current 2011 Acura MDX generation is now in its fifth year and last year styling tweaks give the 2011 Acura MDX face, it appears more Acura sedans. External 2011 Acura MDX features include standard 18-inch alloy wheels, available 19-inch wheels, xenon headlights standard and optional auto-xenon headlights compensation.
2011 Acura MDX carries seven people in the standard leather seats. 2011 Acura MDX has eight-way electrically adjustable front seats and seat can remember two. The 2012 Acura RL will likely see only minor changes. For 2011, Acura’s flagship car has a 300-horsepower 3.7-liter V6 engine, a 6-speed automatic transmission, and all-wheel drive. Safety features include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, front-side airbags, and curtain-side airbags. Two option packages are available, and RLs so equipped are priced as separate models. The Technology Package has heated and cooled front seats and a voice-activated navigation system with rearview camera and access to real-time traffic and weather information. Rear-obstacle detection is new for the Technology Package. The Advance Package includes maple-wood trim, adaptive cruise control, and Acura’s Collision Mitigation Braking System, which senses approaching objects, sounds a warning, and applies the brakes and tightens the front seatbelts if it determines a collision is unavoidable. This evaluation is based on preview test drives of the 2011 Acura RL.

Performance Features
The famous car manufacturer has not released how the next generation Acura RL model will differ from previous years, but predictions can be made based on how other Acura vehicles have been changed recently. One possible option is for the RL to be altered as a rear-wheel car with a V8 engine, so that a more powerful version of the RL 2010 V6. Although not yet a standard V8 engine in the sedan, 2012 Acura RL promises to subvert this paradigm.
Security Features
2012 Acura RL will integrate a number of features that were previously included in previous models, all of which will be standard. Braking system will include vehicle stability assist and tire pressure monitoring system aspects, as well as various aspects of public security, including active front head restraints, child safety lock, and the modification of the body that protects both sides of the car from a collision.

Making its debut at the 2011 Chicago Auto show, the newly refined Acura TL delivers fresh looks, improved performance and upgraded technology. Most apparent are the visual changes that incorporate new front and rear styling, but also present is a new Sequential SportShift 6-speed automatic transmission for improved performance and fuel economy, a revised interior and a host of technology upgrades.

The 2012 Acura TL will be put on sale with a refined 3.5-liter V6 engine, featuring various friction-reduction technologies, while the 3.5-liter and 3.7-liter engines have received a new air inlet system. The 2012 Acura TL will be offered with an output of 280 hp and a front-wheel-drive system and a 305 hp version equipped with the Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD). The 2012 Acura TL SH-AWD will continue to be offered with the 6-speed manual transmission.
The car maker says the 2012 Acura TL will offer an improved fuel consumption, of 20 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway.
The 2012 Acura TL will come with an optional Technology Package which includes quite a large number of goodies. Navigation System with Voice Recognition, AcuraLink Real-Time Traffic with Traffic Rerouting and AcuraLink Real-Time Weather will all be offered with the new 2012 Acura TL.
