While the CR-Z Mugen was designed and built by "MUGEN EURO" based in the UK, the more hardcore RR model is the work of the firm's Japanese division.
The CR-Z Mugen RR features a range of bespoke prototype parts, several of which are made from carbon fibre, including the bonnet, passenger doors and rear tailgate. Other unique parts to the car include a full-length carbon-fibre underbody, a twin central-exit exhaust, vented front bumpers and race-developed suspension.
A set of orange-colored 4-piston monobloc brake calipers and forged 18-inch alloy wheels in black along with the lively Valencia Orange Pearl paint round off the exterior looks.
As for the cabin, Mugen dressed the seats in a combination of orange leather and black Alcantara and plenty of carbon fiber trim that covers the dashboard, the door panels and the center console.
A key highlight of the CR-Z RR's interior is the addition of a race-developed information screen that can record chassis and engine data while also housing a Satellite navigation and audio system.

German tuning house CoverEFX has just launched a new package for the MINI Cooper S Mk1 that includes both cosmetic and performance modifications.
The transformation begins on the outside with a flat gunmetal grey vinyl wrap for the body contrasted by the orange colored roof and front fenders as well as the glossy black trim for the aero package and body trim.
The smoked out lights and the new 17-inch multispoke alloy wheels in black with an orange rim further enhance the car's looks.
Under the hood, the MINI's 1.6-liter turbocharged engine is boosted to 240-horsepower while the three-door hatch rides on a lowered sports suspension.
The total cost of the package is set at �8,000 which comes to around US$11,400.

We'll remind you that Mercedes built only around 100 examples of the special edition CLK coupe, which was themed after the racing model that participated in the DTM and featured a 5.4-liter supercharged V8 pushing out 582 ponies for a 0-100km/h (62mph) sprint time of just 3.8 seconds.

Only a few months after it hit U.S. showrooms, and we have if not the first, at least one of the first stretch limousine transformation of the 2011 Chrysler 300.
It is based on the 3.6-liter V6 model and is virtually brand new having clocked only 71 miles.
As the seller notes on eBay, it comes with �all the bells and whistles�, which translates to a 140-inch stretch, more LEDs than you can possibly count, laser lights and the compulsory disco floor.

Judging from the cuts on the front fenders and the shape of the bonnet, we reckon it�s a mid-1990s Acura Integra Coupe.
The proud owner of the vehicle chopped off the roof to turn the Japanese coupe into a convertible model and then proceeded with the styling transformation that includes a custom body kit imitating the looks of many Mercedes-Benz roadsters and the customary trick doors.

The heavily tuned Nissan GT-R ALPHA 12, which is still in the development and testing phase, was placed on a dyno where it produced an incredible 1,309-horsepower and 994 lb-ft (1,384Nm) of peak torque at all four wheels!
The team over at AMS Performance took the real Godzilla over to a local drag strip, and despite the unfavorable conditions (90 degrees track temperature), the ALPHA 12 managed to return a record quarter mile time of 9.052 seconds with a top speed of 166.7mph (268 km/h). The V-box also recorded a 60-130mph time of 3.46 seconds.
The tuning company said that it plans to return to the drag strip under �better track and weather conditions� to further improve the GT-R ALPHA 12�s time.
AMS Performance hasn�t released details and pricing on the ALPHA 12 package, but for comparison, the ALPHA 10 kit that pushes the GT-R�s output to 1,000 horsepower on 93 octane and over 1,100 ponies on race fuel, is priced at $63,995.

However, Jeep does note that the JK-8 kit, which comes with a three-year/36,000-mile warranty, is for �skilled do-it-yourselfers�. For the less handy amongst us, the company said that the kit may be purchased and installed at a Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge or Ram dealership.
Revealed for the first time to the public at this year�s Moab Jeep Safari, the JK-8 package borrows its styling cues from the 1980�s Jeep Scrambler CJ-8. The kit includes a steel bed, inner and outer bedsides, sport bar extensions, freedom panel assemblies, fiberglass hardtop and bulkhead.
Here�s how Mopar describes the two basic processes involved in the conversion and which concern disassembly and reassembly:
�In disassembly, each rear door is removed. Next, the rear-bumper assembly, hard top and Freedom Panels are removed, followed by the rear portion of the interior, which includes seats and carpeting. Exterior trim parts are removed and preserved; inner and outer body panels are removed by drilling out the spot welds, which allows the panels to fall away and avoids having to cut into the sheet metal. The rear sport bar is cut away and removed along with B-pillars.Reassembly into a two-door pickup truck begins with installation of the B-pillars, cross member, floor-pan assembly (truck bed), and the inner and outer quarter panels (welding is involved in assembly). Next to be installed is the bulkhead reinforcement assembly and sport bar extensions, and finally the installation of the fiberglass bulkhead itself. The kit, with components delivered e-coated, is then prepped for paint. Windows are installed to the hard top, which is then installed on the vehicle. Exterior trim parts are then reinstalled.�

Freedom Panels: Fiberglass panels over front seats.
Hardtop: Made from fiberglass, the hard top may be removed and features a sliding rear window.
Bulkhead: The bulkhead for the kit is made of fiberglass and separates the cab from the bed of the truck, and permanently attaches to the vehicle.
Bed: The spacious 44-inch by 50-inch bed features strong steel construction.
Inner/Outer Bed Panels: Bed panels are stamped sheet metal and provide durability and functionality.
Sport Bar Extensions: New sport bar extensions replace the rear portion of the sport bar that is removed for the conversion. These bars complement the structure of the vehicle.

As a result, output is lifted from 430HP and 430Nm to 565-horsepower and 560Nm (413 lb-ft) of peak torque. O.CT. Tuning says the force-fed R8 completes the standard 0-60mph (96km/h) sprint 0.7 seconds faster than the regular model while it can reach 250km/h (155mph) in just 24 seconds.
Other available options include a carbon-fiber bonnet and front grille surround, plus a high-performance braking system.

Siemoneit Racing calls its tuned VW Golf R the �Black Pearl�for obvious reasons- and it offers customers a choice of two performance packages. The first boosts the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine�s output from 270HP and 320Nm to 355-horses and 485Nm (357.7 lb-ft) through thanks to the updated ECU software, custom exhaust and a new air intake system.
The second and more comprehensive package transforms the Golf R into a 530-horsepower monster by further tweaking the engine software, and adding a larger turbocharger, a new intercooler and a different exhaust system.
Other available options include a lightweight hood made out of carbon fiber.
